Prime the pump; let the current flow.

I’ve been meaning to post more often but my work schedule is pretty intense right now!

I’ve been working hard getting Grotto Madrid things together (stay posted I should be able to post some sweet visuals pretty soon). I’m working on a couple other projects right now and I hope to give you the 411 on those also. I like staying busy; it’s a good thing.

Don’t let my work load discourage anyone from contacting me! Sometimes the best ideas flow out when the pump has been primed and the current is already flowing.

Close to Home: They’re big in Japan

A while back, Tyler Carbol and I designed the CD packaging for Close to Home’s record “Standby”.

Turns out “Standby” has been a huge hit in Japan. Here is a pic of a display in a Tower Records store in Tokyo.

My good friend Tyler Carbol and I have started a clothing company called Grotto Madrid. We have been working on this for over a year now and the entire world will get a chance to see what we’ve been cooking up as we launch this October.

New Star Trek Poster

I’m not what you would consider a Trekkie. I MUCH prefer Star Wars. But seriously, doesn’t this poster for the new Star Trek movie look sweet? I think J.J. Abrams will really bring some spark into this dilapidated franchise.

Design-wise the poster is superb. I love how the designer used the Star Trek logo to frame the picture of Zachary Quinto as Spock. The visual simplicity brings intensity and intrigue to the piece.
